Grand in name yet intimate by nature, Pentillie Castle offers a spectacular setting for weddings both large (up to 200 in a marquee) and small (just the two of you eloping in style).
Weddings at Pentillie can all make full use of the Castle’s historic reception rooms without the need of a marquee, although the lawns and terraces enable marquees to be erected easily.
Pentillie is a venue for all couples who want to celebrate their love and make that big commitment to one another. We welcome couples of all religions, race, sexual orientation, and cultural traditions.

Ceremonies
Saying ‘I Do‘ will be one of the most significant moments of your day. Whether you envision getting married in a Church, exchanging vows under a Chuppah, a celebrant-led ceremony, a Nikah or a Hand Tying ceremony, the estate offers a variety of ceremony locations to suit your style.
Celebrate & Party
Wedding celebrations can be as formal or relaxed as you choose. Following the ceremony, most weddings incorporate a drinks reception before moving onto the wedding breakfast - your first meal as newlyweds. From a traditional fine dining seated reception to a relaxed family shin-dig with sharing platters, the choice is yours.
Apart from the formalities, the opportunities to let your personalities shine during your wedding day are boundless. Your celebration can be as demure or as wild as you please, and that’s to be celebrated in itself.
Enjoy traditional garden games on the Old Tennis Lawn, be entertained by magicians or caricaturists, light sparklers as the sun sets and dance barefoot to a silent disco or in stilettos to a live band.
There is no prescribed formula to weddings at Pentillie allowing you the flexibility and freedom to plan the day of your dreams.
Tariff
Most bookings give you exclusive use of the castle and immediate gardens for a minimum of 2 nights*. Please see individual tariffs for details.
Castle wedding for up to 60 people: from £8,665.
Intimate wedding for up to 22 people: from £7,025
Marquee weddings for up to 120 people: from £27,150
Elopements for just the two of you: from £3,750
Ceremony only: from £1,650*
*Prices based on 2025 tariff. Food and drink will be charged additionally. Discounts are available for NHS workers and military personnel. Larger marquee weddings can be quoted for on a bespoke basis. Ceremony only weddings do not have exclusive use. See individual tariffs for more details.
Exclusively Yours
Pentillie and it’s 11 bedrooms will be exclusively yours from your arrival until your departure as newlyweds. With some of the ‘wow-iest’ views in Cornwall, comfy Vi-spring beds and numerous reception rooms (visit our ‘Room Gallery’), you really can share the most amazing time of your life with your family and friends.
Your guests will feel thoroughly spoilt yet completely at home with full use of the farmhouse kitchen, games room and outdoor solar-heated swimming pool.
