Tariffs to suit every budget
Our licensed wedding venue, Pentillie Castle, will be exclusively yours for your wedding celebrations.
From a tiny elopement to a huge wedding, the castle and immediate gardens are yours in which to make the magic happen.
All wedding tariffs (except Ceremony only) include:
bespoke planning time with our dedicated Weddings Manager.
recommendations from our handpicked list of local suppliers.
our professional team on hand during your celebrations to ensure that your day is all that you imagined.
the use of any of our unique and licensed ceremony spaces.
the terraces and surrounding gardens for reception drinks, traditional garden games and photographs.
tables, chairs, table plan, white table linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
a fully-stocked and staffed bar.
accommodation in our 11 individually styled bedrooms (Dewhurst suite only for elopements).
exclusive use of our extensive facilities, including the games room and outdoor swimming pool (Apr to Sept).
Food and drink is not included within these tariffs. Costs will depend on the style of food, the caterer and the drinks chosen.
All numbers quoted include the marrying couple e.g. castle weddings for 60 are for 58 guests plus you both!

Castle Weddings
For weddings of up to 60 people you will use the Castle’s historic reception rooms without the need for a marquee.
The dining room can seat up to 60 in our lucky horseshoe formation tables. Or up to 50 with round tables. Variations always considered.
You are welcome to invite up to 60 extra guests for the evening reception (making a total of 120 people for the evening celebrations).
The Castle Tariff is available for a minimum 2 night stay from £8,665*.
Intimate Weddings
For couples looking to share their day with a smaller group of up to 22 people, the intimate tariff is for you.
Your party will fill the castle, everyone will be able to stay with you at Pentillie, and you can dine at our magnificent mahogany dining table - candelabras included!

Intimate weddings start from just £7,025* for 2 nights.
Marquee Weddings
For weddings of up to 200 people take full advantage of the terraced gardens and far reaching views that surround Pentillie.
Marquees can be arranged in one of two places: The Loggia Terrace or the Old Tennis Lawn.
The Loggia Terrace means that your marquee is attached to the castle, and becomes an additional room. This means that the castle reception rooms are the backdrop for your wedding celebrations. A marquee here can accommodate up to 120 guests.
You are welcome to invite up to 30 extra guests for the evening reception (making a total of 150 guests for the evening celebrations).
There is no prescribed formula to the set-up of marquees. Tables, dance floor, band, floral displays, etc. can all be arranged to suit you, although in some instances additional charges may need to be made.
The Old Tennis Lawn can fit a marquee accommodating up to 200 guests. These weddings are quoted on an entirely bespoke basis, so additional charges will apply.
The Marquee Tariff, including the Loggia Marquee, is available for a minimum 3 night stay from £27,150*.
Elopements
For couples looking to elope, we are delighted to offer our elopement package on select dates in 2025, which can even include a friendly witness or two!
Elopement packages include:
Canapes followed by a 3-course wedding breakfast
A celebratory bottle of fizz
An overnight stay in bedroom of your choice.
A delicious breakfast hamper to enjoy on your first morning as a married couple
Elopements start from just £3,750* for one night.
*We can also quote for additional dinner guests or bedrooms (up to a maximum of 4 additional guests) with the elopement package.
Ceremony Only
For couples looking for a unique ceremony location, when you are planning your reception elsewhere - your parent’s garden, the local pub, or a neighbours field - we offer our riverside Bathing Hut for ceremony hire only.
Prices from £1,650*.
60 people maximum. Dates subject to availability, and may only be available with relatively short lead time. Please contact us for more details.
*Prices based on 2025 tariff. Food and drink will be charged additionally. Discounts are available for NHS workers and military personnel. Large marquee weddings can be quoted for on a bespoke basis. Elopement and ceremony only weddings do not have exclusive use, nor use of all accommodation. See individual tariffs for more details.
