Pentillie Granola Flapjack Recipe

Flapjacks have always been a popular afternoon treat at Pentillie and our recipe continues to be well requested by visitors and friends alike. It originated from some leftover homemade granola. Wondering what to do with it, we created our very own Pentillie granola flapjacks, which are really rather yummy! Ingredients
100g butter
100g demerara sugar
3-4 tbsp golden syrup
200g oats
100g dried fruit/nuts/seeds
Method
Melt butter, sugar and syrup in a pan over a medium heat
Stir in oats, fruits/nuts/seeds (add more oats if lots of liquid is left)
Press into a 22cm square tin lined with non-stick baking paper
Bake at 170°C for 15 minutes until lightly browned
Cool, and cut into squares.
