Firstly, we wish you all a Happy New Year! We are truly delighted by the number of Friends who have chosen to join us already this year. Your support not only aids our small team of staff and volunteers in caring for the magnificent woodlands, parkland, and walled gardens but also brings us immense joy in sharing these beautiful spaces with you!

As we enter January and its cool climate, our gardens quietly emerge with the promise of new beginnings. Despite the winter chill, there's an undeniable charm in the crisp air and the subtle signs of life in our beloved green spaces.

With exclusive monthly garden walks offered to our Friends, we encourage you to venture out and explore the estate. While some blooms take to hibernation, others brave the cold to display their winter resilience. Discover early-blooming daffodils as you enter the drive, with freshly emerging snowdrops at Cherry Pie, a true testament to nature's enduring spirit.

Throughout the year, we host a number of events, with Friends receiving a 10% discount on both afternoon teas and outdoor theatres. If you're considering tying the knot (or renewing your vows), we invite you to attend our Wedding Showcase on Sunday 4th February. Join us for this special free to attend event, where you can explore the magic of our venue and meet award-winning suppliers from across the South West.
